we’re adjusting now to being a family of 4! i’ve only had one week with dave being back at work, and it’s been working from home, so we’ll see how things go “for real” when it’s just the girls and me without daddy near by. though i think i’m going to be spoiled for a while, with the holidays right around the corner, grandparents are here, and we all know they don’t come to visit dave and me anymore ;)  dave’s parents are here this weekend- Pop wanted nothing more for his birthday than a little Kara fix. my parents come on monday, then dave’s parents back again mid-week. we had to re- think how we were going to do Christmas, as we thought we’d have a 2 week old, we now will have a one month old, and are able to do a little more than we originally expected (which is good!)

kara is a very chill baby. she’s super sleepy, but when she’s awake, she looks all over, and takes everything in- very aware. she has the cutest noises and faces, and does tons of raspberries. we’re waiting for the day she “wakes up” and the quiet is over!

i’m healing remarkably well this time from the c-section. i’ve had tons of people (especially those who have had a section) say that they can’t believe how well i’m getting around. dr. tangchitnob did a great job with the surgery, and i give him full credit!

ariana is doing remarkably well, too, though, i’m wondering if/when the day will come when she totally rebels against having a baby sister. she’s helpful, and LOVES to cuddle kara. we have to keep a close eye on her, to make sure she doesn’t love her too much!
